Gonzalo Cano Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, Belen had to settle for second even though Gonzalo Cano put up the best numbers he has all season. Cano rushed for 205 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 122 yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 63 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Belen and nudges their season record down to 2-4. Cano and Belen will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Highland at 7:00 p.m. on October 17th.
