Volleyball Recap: Barr-Reeve Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Barr-Reeve entered their tilt with Linton-Stockton on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Miners.

Barr-Reeve walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 20-25, 25-15, 26-24.

Joslyn Knepp paced Barr-Reeve's offense, picking up 18 kills. Knepp got some help from Hallie Knepp and her 31 assists. Lora Graber controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

Linton-Stockton's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avery Feltner, who had 16 digs, eight kills, and four aces. Another player making a difference was Taylor Warrick, who had 23 digs and five assists.

Barr-Reeve has now won nine of their last 11 games on the road. That gives them a 4-2 record this season. As for Linton-Stockton, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Barr-Reeve has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Brownstown Central on the 29th. As for Linton-Stockton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Indianapolis Lutheran on the 29th.
