After a string of 18 wins, High Point Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 72-65 to the Chesnee Eagles. The Grizzlies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 101-78.
Despite the loss, High Point Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore J'Sean Sanders dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 boards. Jaden McNeil was another key player, going 5 for 11 on his way to 15 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
