Volleyball Recap: Clear Lake Takes a Loss

It was a good run, but Clear Lake unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against the Algona Bulldogs, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lions have suffered against the Bulldogs since September 11, 2018.

Clear Lake's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Algona, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Clear Lake didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Central Springs on the 20th. As for Algona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lake Mills on the 20th.
