 Meanwhile,  Churchill County unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-match winning streak on Friday. Neither they nor Lowry could gain the upper hand  so the two teams had to settle for  a  1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Churchill County's first  draw of the season.
 Elko's win bumped their record up to 7-5. With that  draw, Churchill County's record moves to 4-3-1.
 Elko might still be hurting after the  4-1 defeat they got from Churchill County  in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024. That  matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Indians were down  3-0.
