The Incline Highlanders will venture away from home to  take on the Battle Mountain Longhorns  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
 Incline's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They breezed by West Wendover at home  to the tune of  61-0. The Highlanders'  win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet  this season.
 Incline got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Tommy Williams out in front who rushed for 27 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 96 yards and a touchdown on only nine passes.  Aidan Midgley was another key rusher, rushing for 101 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
 On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Incline's defense and their four sacks.  Alex Finne was especially locked on to West Wendover's QB and sacked him twice. Finne is also on a roll when it comes to  total tackles, as he's  now  made five or more in the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Incline was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 274  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've posted  was before  the start of last season.
 Meanwhile, Battle Mountain was fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past North Tahoe 42-7 at home. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 35  points or more this season.
 Incline's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Battle Mountain, they now  have a winning record of 3-2.
 Incline didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Battle Mountain  in their previous meeting  back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with  a  21-16 victory.
