Sarasota's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 18-7. As for Venice, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.
 Venice wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  5-1  victory against Riverview Sarasota on the 1st. Hopefully Sarasota paid attention to the Indians'  match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Indians  at 7:00  p.m.  on  the 8th.
