The Morton Potters will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morton will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
Last Saturday, Morton strolled past Canton with points to spare, taking the game 49-30.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mahomet-Seymour's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They were outmatched by Sacred Heart-Griffin at home and fell 62-24. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mahomet-Seymour has scored all season.
Morton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they have fallen quite a ways from their 24-10 record last season and are now at 7-12.
Morton took their win against Mahomet-Seymour in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 47-23. Will Morton repeat their success, or does Mahomet-Seymour have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
