Sparkman gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They came out on top against the Madison Academy Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The Senators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

While Sparkman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-12.

Sparkman has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against St. John Paul II on the 21st. As for Madison Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against East Lawrence on the 21st.
