The Mid-Carolina Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Greenville H by a score of 45-43. Mid-Carolina lost against Greenville H in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-45 score last time.
Despite the loss, Mid-Carolina still got an impressive performance from Jacob Clark, who scored 17 points. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for him. Tymarion Floyd was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Mid-Carolina has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Greenville H, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mid-Carolina will take on Emerald at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenville H, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Oakbrook Prep at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Oakbrook Prep is ranked 107th, while Greenville H is ranked 121st).
