Gaffney extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Banks Bouton. The Indians came out on top against the James F. Byrnes Rebels by a score of 28-16 on Friday with plenty of help from Bouton, who rushed for 132 yards and one score on only 11 carries. He has become a key player for Gaffney: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.
Despite the defeat, James F. Byrnes had strong showings from Tre Segarra, who rushed for 209 yards, and Chanin Harris, who picked up 97 receiving yards and one TD.
