 Holmes'  defeat came about despite a quality game from  Chloe Chappell, who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds. Chappell has been hot, having also posted two or more  steals the last six times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ashayah Boston, who  posted four  points and five  boards.
 Meanwhile,  Northeastern played a tough  game  last Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were  outmatched by Grafton and fell  56-24. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  37-17.
 This is the second loss in a row for Northeastern and  nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Holmes, their  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-7.
 Holmes was taken down by Northeastern 62-35 in their previous meeting  back in January of 2024. Can Holmes avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
