After a string of three wins, The Scottsbluff Bearcats''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 35-16 to Elkhorn North.
Despite the defeat, Scottsbluff had strong showings from Nate Kelley, who rushed for 51 yards and a touchdown, and Sebastien Boyle, who rushed for 89 yards.
Scottsbluff's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Elkhorn North, their victory was their seventh straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 10-1.
Scottsbluff does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Elkhorn North will square off against Bennington at TBD on Friday. Bennington is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
