Menahga barely beat Upsala the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Braves' pitchers stepped up to hand the Cardinals an 8-0 shutout on Monday. Considering the Braves have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Menahga pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Upsala, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Menahga will host Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Braves are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Upsala, they will take on Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
