Jacob Sisson threw two touchdowns and ran for three more as
Jamestown (N.Y.) bested Frontier (Hamburg, N.Y.) 42-7 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Sisson touchdown pass to
Zach Panebianco in the first quarter, the Red Raiders led 21-0 at the half.
Jamestown grew its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. JHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by Sisson.
Frontier's lone touchdown came on a 10-yard run by Tyler Gaglia in the fourth quarter.
The Falcons came in surrendering 9.6 points per game this season. Frontier had a hard time against Jamestown's offense, who entered the game scoring 56.1 points per game. Jamestown came in allowing an average of 19.0 points per game this season. The defense really stepped up, holding FHS well below its season average of 25.7 points scored per game.
The Red Raiders avenged last year's 35-28 loss to the Hamburg school with the victory.
The defeat comes as a step back for Frontier, who notched a 17-7 victory over Orchard Park in its previous outing. The loss broke Frontier's two-game winning streak.
