The biggest upset of the week belonged to Zane Trace, who took down 508th ranked Zane Trace, 33-14.
Tyler Hinty and Dylan Scaggs provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Adena. The connection went for 63 yards, the longest such play in Scioto Valley this season.
The Pioneers' dynamic duo of Hinty and Scaggs proved tough for the Warriors to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Hinty threw for 68 yards and one touchdown and Scaggs had 63 yards receiving. Nate Mettler helped Zane Trace's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Jeremy Farmer was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 83 yards on 10 carries as Piketon fell to Adena. Issac Brabson also contributed to the rushing game with 77 yards on the ground.
Ryan Spencer made the biggest impact on defense this week as Unioto fell to Westfall. The junior forced one fumble and recorded one fumble.
The Redstreaks' Brabson and Colten William have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Brabson has thrown for 876 yards this season, while William has 16 catches for 300 yards. The Shermans' John Vanderpool leads the league in rushing yards with 660.
The Mustangs extended the longest winning streak in Scioto Valley this week by beating Unioto, 34-2. The victory was the fourth in a row for Westfall.
