The Baptist Hill Bobcats won the last time they faced the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators, and things went their way on Friday too. Baptist Hill breezed by the NaviGators at home to the tune of 71-41. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Baptist Hill had established a 24 point advantage.
Baptist Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rickey Middleton Jr out in front who scored seven points along with six rebounds and five steals. Middleton Jr is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jaden Douglas, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds and two blocks.
Baptist Hill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-22.
Baptist Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Burke knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully the Bobcats like a good challenge. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will head out on the road to face off against the Riptide at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
