The Lewiston Bengals lost against the Post Falls Trojans back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Lewiston took a hard 53-39 fall against Post Falls. Lewiston has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Post Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brooklynn Brennan, who scored 21 points along with three steals. The game was Brennan's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Letti Asper, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Lewiston's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Post Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
Lewiston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pendleton at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. As for Post Falls, they will head out on the road to face off against Clarkston at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarkston is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
