The Appalachian Christian Trailblazers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 75-59 to Ridgeview Christian. Even though they lost, Appalachian Christian's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 51 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Despite the loss, Appalachian Christian saw an underclassman step up: Blake Waldron scored 29 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Duff, who scored 18 points.
Appalachian Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ridgeview Christian, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Appalachian Christian will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Redeemer Classical at 6:30 p.m. Ridgeview Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fresta Valley Christian at 5:45 p.m. on December 5th.
