After a string of ten wins, the Kenwood Broncos's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell to Curie 65-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Kenwood lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Aleks Alston, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Christopher Riddle, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Kenwood's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Curie, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 27-2.
Kenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Curie also has no future games currently scheduled.
