After flying high against the Tyler HEAT last Saturday, The King's Academy Knights came back down to earth. King's Academy took a serious blow against Faustina Academy on Friday, falling 51-6. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, King's Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.
Leading Faustina Academy to victory were Damian Sipe and Ben Nelson . Sipe gained 133 total yards and three touchdowns, while Nelson threw for 163 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Wood, who picked up 53 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
King's Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Faustina Academy, their victory was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Faustina Academy will face off against Community Christian at TBD on Friday.
