There's no place like home for the Rudyard Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past Brimley 72-48. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Rudyard also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Despite the loss, Brimley still got an impressive performance from Perry LeBlanc, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. LeBlanc scored a full 41.7% of Brimley's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Jay Tagerson, who scored five points along with eight rebounds.
Rudyard pushed their record up to 2-1 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Brimley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rudyard will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Manistique on December 27th. As for Brimley, they will head out on the road to face off against Newberry at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newberry is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
