Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chesterton). They breezed by the Washington Township Senators to the tune of 72-38 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Trojans with their most commanding win of the season.

Washington Township's loss came despite strong showings from Rob McGowan and Brogan Banker. McGowan went 5 for 9 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds, while Banker posted eight points.

Chesterton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Washington Township, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-1.

Chesterton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-51 win against Brownsburg on the 14th. Washington Township will take on Westville in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westville will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Washington Township surely won't give up without a fight.
