Marlow had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 43-40 win over the Kingston Redskins on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Outlaws sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Marlow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Blayd Harris out in front who posted 11 points. Harris is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Kaden Harris was another key player, going 5-for-8 to rack up 10 points in addition to eight boards and four steals.
Marlow's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Kingston, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-9 record.
Marlow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-39 loss against Anadarko on the 1st. Kingston does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
