Baseball Recap: Mount Abram Wins Going Away Against Madison

Mount Abram won the last time they faced Madison and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Roadrunners put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Roadrunners might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Kaiden Longley made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. Longley was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Killian Pillsbury was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

Mount Abram's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Abram will square off against Maranacook at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will take on Lisbon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Greyhounds have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
