The Wasatch Academy Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against IMG Academy by a score of 90-77. The victory was familiar territory for Wasatch Academy who now have five in a row.
Wasatch Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isiah Harwell led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Harwell's eighth in a row with at least ten points. John Mobley Jr. was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six assists.
Wasatch Academy's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for IMG Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-7.
Wasatch Academy will head out on the road to face off against La Lumiere at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. La Lumiere knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten games -- so hopefully Wasatch Academy likes a good challenge. As for IMG Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tampa Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Tampa Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Friday.
