Hall is 2-7 against Newington since April of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Titans will head out to face off against the Nor'easters at 5:00 p.m.
Hall is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Connecticut's top teams: Conard, who was ranked first at the time (Hall was ranked 14th). The Titans came up short against the Red Wolves on Thursday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered since May 2nd.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-11, 25-19.

Hall might have lost, but man, Joshua Ng was a machine: he had 21 digs and one assist. Ng has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times he's played.
Meanwhile, Newington hadn't done well against Southington recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Nor'easters blew past the Blue Knights 3-0. Winning may never get old, but the Nor'easters sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Newington never let Southington on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-23.
Hall better keep an eye on Adam Redman. He was instrumental in Newington's win, getting 16 digs and three assists.
Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Newington, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
