This season hasn't been kind to the Colome Cowboys, who are still winless after their 17th contest. They took a 38-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunshine Bible Academy on Monday.
Abby Hinman went supernova for Sunshine Bible Academy, dropping a triple-double on 17 points, 12 rebounds, and 17 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hinman has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Annaliese VanZee, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Colome's loss was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colome won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for Sunshine Bible Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
