The Rawlins Outlaws's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 72-20 loss at the hands of Douglas. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Rawlins has scored all season.
Jill Fertig was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds for Douglas. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fertig has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jaden Meyer, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Rawlins' defeat was their ninth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Douglas, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
