A Season-Best Effort from Saidi Wasaidi Leads Polytechnic over North Side
Polytechnic was led to victory by Saidi Wasaidi, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Thursday. Wasaidi rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Polytechnic's victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. Wasaidi and Polytechnic will take on South Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

William Quintana-Rodriguez produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Chisholm Trail to the win on Friday. Quintana-Rodriguez rushed for 154 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
The victory made it two in a row for Chisholm Trail and bumps their season record up to 6-2. Quintana-Rodriguez and Chisholm Trail will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Kaeden Grant stepped things up a notch to give Arlington Heights the 'W'. Grant turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 38 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 195 yards and a touchdown on only 18 passes.
Grant and Arlington Heights will venture away from home to challenge Trimble Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will pit Grant up against the Bulldogs' star QB Alexis Saucedo. So who wins this QB-duel? There's only one way to know for sure.
