Faith Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Gramercy Christian Warriors as Faith Christian Academy made off with a 19-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Conquerors, who have now won four contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Andrew Pittman was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Faith Christian Academy got a massive performance out of Jessie Carrillo, who scored four runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Carrillo has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times he's played.
