Agawam is 0-4 against Taconic since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Agawam Brownies will head out on the road to take on the Taconic Thunder at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Agawam posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past Pittsfield 67-64. The win made it back-to-back wins for Agawam.
Meanwhile, Taconic entered their tilt with Pittsfield with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Taconic walked away with a 76-65 victory over Pittsfield on Monday.
Agawam has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Taconic, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Agawam took a serious blow against Taconic in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 76-42. Can Agawam avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
