The Randolph-Macon Academy Yellow Jackets had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Massanutten Military Academy 64-14 on the road. With Randolph-Macon Academy ahead 47-12 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Bilal Kebbay, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Tega Esievo, who scored 10 points.
Randolph-Macon Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Massanutten Military Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Randolph-Macon Academy will take on The Covenant at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully The Covenant focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Friday. As for Massanutten Military Academy, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome King Abdullah Academy at 1:00 p.m. on December 2nd.
