Southview Christian is 2-8 against New Manna Christian since November of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Southview Christian Conquerors will head out on the road to challenge the New Manna Christian Wind at 3:30 p.m. Southview Christian will be strutting in after a victory while New Manna Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Friday, Southview Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Millers Creek Christian, but they still walked away with a 37-31 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southview Christian.
Meanwhile, New Manna Christian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 44-38 to Union Grove Christian.
Southview Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for New Manna Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3.
Southview Christian came up short against New Manna Christian when the teams last played back in December of 2023, falling 51-38. Can Southview Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
