Sebeka found their leader in underclassman Max Lake, who scored 19 points along with 5 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lake has scored at least 25% of Sebeka's points. Teagen Lee was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
New York Mills' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sebeka, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New York Mills will take on Browerville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Sebeka is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Verndale at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Verndale is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
