The Winchendon Wapiti will be playing at home against the Hoosac Owls at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Winchendon is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Winchendon pushed their score all the way to 81 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were outmatched by Broome Street Academy on the road and fell 112-81.
Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for Hoosac, as they earned their first road win of the season. They strolled past Brewster Academy Prep with points to spare last Wednesday, taking the game 77-62. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Hoosac has managed all season.
Winchendon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hoosac, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Everything came up roses for Winchendon against Hoosac when the teams last played back in January of 2017 as the team secured a 91-63 win. Does Winchendon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hoosac turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
