Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to Westwood, but their most recent contest may have softened the blow. They skirted past Mercy 20-18. Mercy can consider this payback for the 14-33 loss they dealt Westwood the last time the teams encountered one another.
The victory bumped Westwood's record up to 2-1. Mercy are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
Next week Westwood take on Los Molinos at 6:00 PM. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins. As for Mercy, they will face off against Herlong. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
