West Franklin has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.87 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They skirted past the Lebo Wolves 13-11. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

West Franklin let Gunnar McMahan and Keegan Cooley run wild. McMahan went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Cooley went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run. Those three RBI gave Cooley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Chance Nickel, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs.

West Franklin's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Lebo, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Franklin beat the Wolves by a score of 7-1 later that day.
