Wood River stacked  an  eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  19-4 margin over the Mountain Home Tigers. The  victory was familiar territory for Wood River who now have three in a row.
  Paityn Nelson made a splash no matter where she played. She  pitched four innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Nelson was even better at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Hannah McLaren was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double.  Faith Enderle was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 On Mountain Home's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ava Johnson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Wood River is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record  this season. As for Mountain Home, their defeat was  their fourth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 3-17-1.
 Wood River has the luxury  of staying home for another  game and will welcome Twin Falls at 3:00  p.m.  on Monday.
