The Pittsfield Generals will head out on the road to  square off against  the Northampton Blue Devils at 7:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Pittsfield is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
 A well-balanced attack led Pittsfield over Drury in every quarter on their way to victory  on Monday. Pittsfield came out on top against Drury by a score of  51-39.
 Pittsfield got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Kyana Summers out in front who  scored 11 points along with eight  assists and eight  rebounds. Summers is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed five or more in the last three games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Harolyn Castillo, who  scored 15 points along with five  rebounds and four  steals.
 Meanwhile, Northampton came up short against Central last Friday and fell  61-48. While losing is never fun, Northampton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings  (they are ranked 43rd, while Central is ranked third).
 Pittsfield is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record  this season. As for Northampton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
 Pittsfield came up short against Northampton in their previous matchup  back in December of 2023, falling  49-39. Can Pittsfield avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
