It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Bryan County Redskins had no problem doing just that on Friday. Everything went their way against Pelham as Bryan County made off with a 34-8 win. Bryan County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Austin Clemons had a dynamite game for Bryan County, rushing for 178 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.4 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacari Carney, who rushed for 113 yards.
The victory (which was Bryan County's seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.1 points per game. As for Pelham, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Bryan County will face off against Commerce at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Commerce is coming into the game hot, having won their last nine games. Pelham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
