The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for McGregor in their matchups with Cromwell: they've now lost eight in a row.
Cromwell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Nyberg, who scored 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Lindman, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
McGregor has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Cromwell, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McGregor and Northland will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Northland has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 766 points over their last ten contests. As for Cromwell, they will be playing at home against Two Harbors at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
