Chatham Central's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Chloe Scott, who scored ten points, and Karaleigh Dodson who scored five points along with 12 rebounds and three steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Chatham Central struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
North Moore's loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-6. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.0 points per game. As for Chatham Central, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5.
Tuesday's game is shaping up to be a scrappy match: North Moore have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 34.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Chatham Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 31.1 rebounds per game. Given North Moore's sizeable advantage in that area, Chatham Central will need to find a way to close that gap.
