The Bradshaw Christian The Pride's's found some homefield redemption this week after a tough overtime loss to the Vacaville Bulldogs on Friday. Bradshaw Christian simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Galt 69-34 at home. That 69-34 margin sets a new team best for Bradshaw Christian this season.
Isaac Jensen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 21 rebounds. Those 21 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Josh O'neal, who scored 11 points along with nine assists.
Galt lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Wilson Garcia, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. Garcia scored a full 47.1% of Galt's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Zavion Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with 11 rebounds and three steals.
Bradshaw Christian's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Galt, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bradshaw Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Wood at 7:00 p.m. on January 6th. As for Galt, they will head out on the road to face off against El Dorado at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. El Dorado has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
