The Tabb Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their 12th straight defeat. They took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warhill. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tabb of the 57-47 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Despite the loss, Tabb still got an impressive performance from Micah Marbra, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Marbra has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Powell, who scored nine points.
Tabb dropped their record down to 3-18 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Warhill, their victory bumped their record up to 7-14.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tabb will take on Poquoson at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tabb is facing Poquoson at the right time seeing as Poquoson is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Warhill, they will be playing at home against Bruton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Brutonpresents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Warhill in Virginia (Bruton is ranked 101st, while Warhill is ranked 275th).
