Trinity Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Douglass Bulldogs. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Trinity Academy pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Douglass, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Academy will welcome Collegiate at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Douglass, they will be playing at home against Chaparral at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
