TACOMA, Wash. - the Falcons had a big 22-point second quarter on Saturday, sealing a 43-0 victory over Mt. Tahoma (Tacoma, Wash.).
Foss scored on a touchdown pass by
Isaiah Littlejohn to
Mike Cocke, a defensive touchdown and a punt return touchdown by
Malik Smith in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a Smith touchdown run in the first quarter, FHS led 36-0 at the half.
The Falcons grew their lead to 43 points entering the fourth quarter. Foss' lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by Littlejohn to
Chris "Scooby" Reynolds.
Foss' most effective player was Smith. The senior halfback. He has now scored two touchdowns on the season.
The victory was a completely different match up compared to last season's game between these two teams, which the T-Birds took, 43-14.
The win was a nice bounce back for the Falcons, who lost to North Thurston last week, 22-20. The loss was the fourth in a row for Mt. Tahoma.
