Sparta had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 4-5 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Grant Tigers 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Spartans have posted since May 22, 2024.

As for Grant, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring contest so far this season.
