Timmonsville will challenge Marion on the road at Marion HS at 7:30 PM on Friday. Timmonsville is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Timmonsville fought the good fight in their overtime game last Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of Lee Central by a score of 12-14.
Meanwhile, Marion received a tough blow as they fell 34-52 to Mullins.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies that hunger and which team leaves with an empty belly.
