The Tishomingo County Braves won against the Kossuth Aggies on Wednesday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Tishomingo County strolled past Kossuth with points to spare, taking the game 56-42. That 56-42 margin sets a new team best for Tishomingo County this season.
Ayden Mcdeavitt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Tishomingo County's points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Tishomingo County and bumps their season record up to 6-10. As for Kossuth, they bumped their record down to 3-7 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tishomingo County will take on Baldwyn at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Baldwyn presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Tishomingo County in Mississippi (Baldwyn is ranked 74th, while Tishomingo County is ranked 233rd). Kossuth will be staying on the road on January 5th to face off against Corinth at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Hopefully Corinth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Thursday.
